Afterlife 2: Rickard's Journey Version History

Work began on Afterlife 2: Rickard's Journey in the summer of 2006, with the first public announcement of its development being made on the 8th of July that year. After three years of hard work, and a lot of help from some great people, the sequel to Afterlife: Rickard's Quest was released on the 18th of May, 2009.

• Consoles in Training Pad Zone now list the correct key for jumping.
• Discovered and removed unnecessary filesize overhead from game executable.

• Fixed a bug causing Rickard to "teleport" (often to his death) in specific circumstances when riding the DHU.

• Added specific error message for failures due to memory shortage.
• Fixed bug causing only lit bombs to detonate upon the end of an Act.
• Fixed bug causing Rickard's total number of bombs to sometimes become inaccessible.
• The second robo-skull now correctly waits for Rickard to enter its chamber before attacking.
• Fixed a bug allowing the "Jump" key to be duplicated between two players.
• Fixed a bug allowing the same key to be duplicated for different actions of the same player.
• Fixed two bugs relating to crystal formations in Mystic Caverns Zone.
• Fixed bug causing Rickard to levitate when landing on a submerged platform.

• Fixed bug causing crash when setting custom controls.

• Fixed path-scripting bug affecting one Act.

• First release.
